Basically, if the combination of the values of the three gems you are fusing is below one million, then the totem bonus is willing to adapt itself downward to facilitate making a semi. So, if your totem bonus is 4000 for example, and the gems you are fusing have value 333,000 each, then the sum of those values is 999,000 which is below one million. In this case, the 4000 bonus reduces to 999, so that the result is 999,999 as desired.

However, if the gems had 334,000 value each, then the sum is 1,002,000 which is over one million. In that case the ritual would result in a 1,006,000 gem (which is absolutely not what you want).

The same phenomenon occurs around value 2,999,997 when making perfect gems. If you put three 999,000 gems in your totem, the sum is 2,997,000 and the totem bonus would reduce to 2,997.

I have the same doubt.

I have these gems:

714867, 102030, 176886. If I fuse them I will get 993783 + 3200 from the guild bonus (996983 in total). Then I wont get a semi-perfect gem because I need 4000 point. Is it possible to increase the bonus thanks to the new ritual respiners and get the semi-perfect gem?

Thanks.

Thanks for the detailed reply Alice. Glad to hear making semis and perfects won't take grueling math to complete.

Carlos. If I were you I would start that ritual and then raid as much as I could to get the respin bonus to keep adding to your initial bonus of 3200. If your math is right you will only need an additional 3016 to make a true semi. That is very feasible........I you don't quite make it to 3016 or 6216 total don't sweat it. You can always use the bonus to make up for it when you run your perfect ritual later. Just try to get it as close to 6216 as possible so it won't be too hard to make your perfect golden ring gem.

So the totem will adapt itself we can say like it adds 999 bonus instead of the regular guild bonus due to adaption, of I raid will the bonus increase or it will be some after the raid??

Keep in mind when making a 999,999 Gem your bonus will no go further, unless it exceeds the original ritual.

Example: If ritual 1 is the following:  300k, 300k, 375k, that is equal to 975k, you can not have more than 24,999 as a bonus ritual since it takes a unique ritual to make a gem above 1 million. so your bonus will pause.

If your ritual is for example 900k, 100k, 100k, that is already well over 1million, and if you're able to create that gem, then your bonus will not pause."

It has happened to me before, and it paused, perhaps its because my first time making a 999,999 gem and wasn't allowed to go over until I unlocked my first 1m to be able to craft them. but this is my personal experience.

thank you for reading and have a blissful day, best of luck!
