I while ago i started a new account. Now that i have reached lvl 50 i've
noticed a huuge disparity in levels.

I mean, i just had a Lvl 556 Attack me. Not only are his traps atleast twice

as powerful as mine, his Throne most likely is as well and more than likely

he has far more Potions at his disposal than i do.

I suggest to limit the Range of Attackers within a +/- 20 Level Range of your

own Level.

I know bro it is very frustrating but the fact is if no high level player attacks u then u also dont attack high level player ok? and high level players have high level (golden gems) and u cant steal them so this is ok try ur luck and u will notice that if u attack a player around ur level then u dont have "HIGH" value gems! so this is OK for me! hope u understand.

That's what I was going to say. ;)

Meh, I guess the developers' logic is that if you're good enough to even get to level 40, you should be able to go against the big boys (100+).

Nope. Logic is that there aren't enough players at higher levels, so they need to combine them.

There are level restrictions in place for new players, below level 50.  However, there has to be a level above which there is one top player pool.  For example. there are some players (but not many) above level 1000.  If they could only raid each other, the game would be very boring.

The thing is, once you get to level 50 you have had enough time to get your stats to a point where you can be competitive with the big boys.  So that's where the line was drawn, and it's not so bad.  If you feel underpowered, work on your upgrades and get some more raiding practice (do retrievals, use ghost where you don't know the solution, never give up until you reach a chest, etc.).
