Wow this is an old thread... from before we discovered that long jumps, like saw jumps, can be path dependent.  There's so much we've learned about game physics.


Anyway, past Fezzik, there's your answer.  Long jumps are often path dependent, so things like the spot you jump from when turning around or the door position when going right into one of these jumps can make it possible or impossible before you even attempt to tap at the last moment.

Discussion of hacked bases is not allowed on the forums.  But this thread blurs the lines since it's more of a question rather than a hack report.  I've never seen such a long ghost run for a base that was not saved legitimately. 


The jump was indeed possible a long time ago.  It was one of the "super jumps" that were removed from the game.  Basically you had to hit the corner of the terrain just right so you could get enough height to reach the chest.  Solutions with these jumps can no longer be saved, but old bases use the physics that existed when they were created.  This is what Unique referred to as a museum base.  But if it's a museum base, then what's with the long ghost run?


The ghost is confusing to me, regardless of whether it was not saved legitimately or is an actual museum base.

As long as the game is working on your iOS device and loads your account when it starts up, you can try clearing the cloud data in the settings.  Just tap the trash can icon.  Turn the cloud off and on to get it to save again. I am not sure if you have to have the cloud on or not when you tap the trash can so try it both ways.

It's not how fast you tap.  It's the timing between the taps.  Next time use the ghost potion and try to make your thief's path match the ghost.  It's a good way to learn how to beat these spawns.

Only allowed to attack (excluding retrieve or revenge) a dungeon that has all gaurds levels must be equal to what your guards are eg lvl 1 + lvl 3 + lvl 6 = lvl 10 ... meaning you can attack someone who has eg. Lvl 1 + lvl 1 + lvl 8 = lvl 10 ... to make it equal and fair as we cant all afford orbs..


There aren't enough dungeons to raid to limit them even further by trap arithmetic.  If someone is running a gold ritual, you'd have no chance of finding them unless your trap total was equal to theirs.


Furthermore, there would be no incentive to upgrade your own traps since it would mean you'd be raiding harder and harder dungeons.  I'd have all level 1 traps and just berzerk and orb my rituals.  Not a bad trade-off for being able to 3-star a dungeon with about 50 deaths.


You can get your traps to level 40+ without spending orbs.  It just takes patience.

Without seeing a picture, I'm guessing you're referring to a corner pop.  It's a corner jump but with a slight slide so you delay a bit and emerge stretched when you pop out of the corner.

Due to the way the game delays taps that happen before you make contact with a floor or wall, there are multiple tapping patterns that work for this jump.  But the way I beat the blue guard in this and similar layouts is with 3 equally spaced taps in a row.  In musical terms, it's a triplet.  Think of the word "bumblebee" and tap the syllables.  bum - ble - bee  With a little practice you'll hit it more often than you'll miss it.

The trap that kills the last remaining thief will be the one that disables.


Edit:  That's if you use gang and then DT after one death.  More accurately, the trap that kills the last remaining thief is the one that counts for each death.  The way DT works would be the same as if you did not use gang and died to that one trap.

so charged my google play account (example@yahoo.com)

but when I wanted to buy gems, it says I don't have enough money because it's looking at another account (example@gmail.com)

how do I change that? I already linked my account to the yahoo one from KoT settings (the game controller icon) but I still can't buy gems



Since the update with arenas, changing which google account is associated with your KoT account has become more complicated. 


First, I'd take a screenshot of your in-game ID and your gems / orbs just in case you lose your account, so you can ask support to restore it for you.


Then make sure your KoT account is properly backed up to the cloud using the google account you want to pay with. If it's not already, you used to be able to do this by disconnecting the game icon, then clicking the trash icon in the game settings, then clicking the game icon again and signing into the correct account.  I think this should still work but I have not tried it since the update. 


As long as you're backed up to the cloud, the next step is making the game load from the cloud.  Basically follow the steps here to restore your account from the cloud using the new account:



That should do it.  If you have more than one device, I would recommend trying to restore on the 2nd device so you don't wind up losing your progress if something goes wrong.

Does it work if you play and stop playing for 1 hour will it still force you after you played just after that or does the timer rewind?


Only 3 consecutive hours offline will reset the counter.  If you play for an hour, then take an hour off, then for 5 more hours, you'll reach the 6 hour limit.

The answer is pretty much "no".  Technically it can be done, as users with offensive names have been renamed in the past, but generally once you name your character that's its name forever. You can always open a support ticket and ask nicely, but I suspect they will decline your request.

Without increasing the number of potions in the game, maybe the 6th gem color could give a mystery potion, which would not be revealed until the ritual was complete.  Or maybe even a bonus of some type.

The key is that you must clear the app data to switch accounts using the google cloud. 


Here's how it works for me:

  • Make sure you have the Google Play Games app installed, and connect all your Google accounts to that.
  • Clear the KoT app data - The way to do this varies. On some phones, you can drag your KoT app into an "app info" area from your app drawer.  On my phone, I have to go into settings, apps, storage, and then clear the data.
  • Open the game. In the bottom right area, before you even select your age, click the "restore" button. 
  • A menu will pop up which allows you to select your google play account that has the KoT account saved. This is where I think Google Play Games helps, but maybe it works without it

Definitely can be abused.


If you really want to send orbs to your friends, you can always buy them a play store gift card. ;-)
