The bloodhound is the first trap I've ever been excited to see added into the game. It's mechanics are so cool and the possibilities are endless. The new cannon mechanics are also nice although there may not be too many uses for them. I really hope these new bases have platforms or at least gravity switches. Any Intel on that yet?

Yeah, but base 21 has 2 platforms and a dead end while most dungeons have neither, so it is probably the most overpowered.

And the examples I provided aren't what new dungeons added to the game would look like. The new dungeons would probably be plainer then some current dungeons to compensate for the change. Plus a gap is easier to make then a dead end.

So here's another thought:
The Roaster's death timer could directly depend on the distance between the player and the Roaster. Means eg. that if you are touching it you have jump almost immediately and you can kind of rest when you are far away from it.

Holy hell that's genius.

Don't know how exactly that would work, but it completely fixes the little variety problem and buffs the roaster. Great idea man! +1

Let's be honest- in 90% of situations, the roaster just sucks. I don't think there's a way to rework it without completely changing it. It has so little variety and is overall useless.

I've always thought traps should do different things or make the thief require different jumps to actually be interesting. As the OP states, you place this anywhere in the map and it does nothing.

What really would have been a better thing to add would be more platform/gravity switch bases. Don't add more traps- experiment more with what you got!

I stayed in my first dungeon for longer than usual, and I now have a 50,000 gem. I moved into the second dungeon, and this stupid fucking tutorial is forcing me to do a ritual as soon as I arrive. I can't change the gems in the totem, and whenever I try to start the ritual I just get the message that the gem is too big. I am stuck.

Any ideas? Zeptolab needs to have a disable tutorial button, because this piece of shit takes too long and has too many flaws.
